语法总结—— 主从复合句

状语从句

状语从句指的是一个句子作状语，表达“描述性的信息”，补充说明另一个句子。

状语从句的构成为：从属连词 + 完整的陈述句。

这里的从属连词在句子中不做成分，但是表示一定的逻辑关系，用来说明这个状语从句是描述何种信息的。

状语从句的种类是由从属连词来决定的，即从属连词表示什么含义（逻辑关系），那么从句就是什么状语从句。

从句位置

状语从句的位置通常有三中：主句前，主句中，主句后。

• 主句前

As the economy picks up, opportunities will abound for aspiring leaders.(2011, Reading Comprehension, Part A Text 2)

• 主句中

Opportunities, as the economy picks up, will abound for aspiring leaders.

• 主句后

Opportunities will abound for aspiring leaders, as the economy picks up.

从句的分类

状语从句表达描述性的信息，用来补充说明主句，分为九种：

• 时间状语从句
  • 当……时候：when/while/as
  • 在……之前：before
  • 在……之后：after
  • 自从：since
  • 直到：until
  • 一……就……：as soon as
  • 截止到……时候：by the time
  • 每一次：each time/every time
  • 下一次：the next time
• 地点状语从句
  • 在……地方：where
• 原因状语从句
  • 因为：because/since/as
  • 既然，由于：now that
• 结果状语从句
  • 太……所以……：such……that……
  • 太……所以……：so……that……
  • 所以：so that……
• 目的状语从句
  • 目的是/为了……：so that……/in order that ……
• 条件状语从句
  • 如果：if
  • 如果不，除非：unless
  • 一旦：once
  • 只要：as long as/so long as
• 让步状语从句
  • 尽管，虽然：although/though
  • 即使，虽然：even if/even though
  • 虽然，尽管：while
  • 不管怎样：however/no matter how
• 比较状语从句
  • 和……相比较：than——用于比较级比较中
  • 和……相比较：as——用于原级比较中
• 方式状语从句
  • 按照……方式，如同……：as
  • 似乎，好像……：as if

状语从句的从属连词中，需要注意as的多种用法：

• 时间状语从句：当……时候
• 原因状语从句：因为……
• 比较状语从句：和……相比较
• 方式状语从句：按照……方式，如同……

因此只要是as引导的是完整的句子，那么就一定是状语从句。

本句中缺少宾语，因此后面的that从句为该句的宾语从句；

第二句

介词短语：of these three修饰名词hybrids，插入语：such as delayed open-access补充说明主句：Other models exist that are hybrids of these three

句子的核心为：

• that are hybrids …… —— 那是……的混合物

第三句

• where journals allow only subscribers to read a paper for the first six months, before making it freely available to everyone

where从句的前面为such as delayed open-access，这里的where从句是用来补充说明open-access这个名词，因此这里是一个非限定性定语从句；

to read 这个非谓语动词作为从句谓语subscribers的宾语，paper作为宾语的补足语，都属于句子的核心；

介词for与后面的部分为介宾短语，修饰非谓语动词to read；

介词before与后面的部分作为介词短语，修饰前面的定语从句，其中介词to与后面的部分组成介词短语，修饰available；

这一句的核心部分为：

• where journals allow …… subscribers to read …… paper —— 期刊允许……订阅者阅读……报纸

第四句

• who wishes to see it.

who引导的定语从句解释说明前面的名词everyone，非谓语动词to see作为wish的宾语，it作为非谓语动词to see的宾语，这一句的核心为：
