连词的概念

连词（Conjunction）是用来连接单词、短语或句子的词，主要作用是表达并列、因果、条件、让步、对比、时间等关系。连词在句子结构中起到了衔接作用，使句子更加连贯、流畅。

连词的分类及用法

连词主要可以分为以下三类：
并列连词（Coordinating Conjunctions）
从属连词（Subordinating Conjunctions）
相关连词（Correlative Conjunctions）

并列连词（Coordinating Conjunctions）

并列连词用于连接对等的单词、短语或句子，常见的有：
and（和、并且）
but（但是）
or（或者）
nor（也不）
so（因此）
yet（然而）
for（因为）

连词 含义 例句
and 连接相同类型的内容，表示“和” She likes tea and coffee.

so 表示结果，“因此” It was late, so we went home.

并列连词的用法
连接两个单词：
I like apples and oranges.
连接两个短语：
He is good at singing and dancing.
连接两个独立句子（前面用逗号）：
She was tired, but she kept working.

从属连词（Subordinating Conjunctions）

从属连词用于连接主句和从句，表示因果、条件、时间、让步、目的等。

从属连词的用法
📌 从属连词引导的从句通常放在句首或句尾：
原因：I stayed at home because it was raining.
让步：Although he was tired, he continued working.
条件：If you study hard, you will pass.
时间：After the meeting ended, we went home.

🚨 注意：
当从句在句首时，主从句之间用逗号分隔：
Because it was raining, I stayed home.
当从句在句尾时，通常不加逗号：
I stayed home because it was raining.

相关连词（Correlative Conjunctions）

相关连词成对出现，用于连接平行结构的成分，如单词、短语、从句。

both … and 不能与否定句搭配：
❌ I don’t like both apples and oranges.
✅ I like both apples and oranges.
