2.2.1 05年T4

引言

05年第三篇文章，五个错了四个，给我心态整奔溃了，中间连续两天没有做英语阅读。直到第三天（昨天）才完成第三篇文章的翻译与纠错，并且再一次复习了方法论与解题技巧。今天我做了第四篇文章，竟然全对，给我乐坏了。对比两次做题思路，我总结了一下技巧：

单词很重要。之前没做好我估计是在那篇文章中遇到大量不认识的熟词僻义、短语、语法。这个没啥技巧，就是一遍又一遍的背单词书。
分析段落逻辑。做题时读完一段后，分析一下，作者的写作手法与写作目的；很多题目在可以使用“从主旨”的方法解题。
分析句间逻辑。同一段落内，句子与句子之间逻辑，可以近似看作相等或相反两种逻辑（考场上没时间分析太多）。分析句间逻辑对解细节题、猜词题、推理题有巨大的帮助。

一、逻辑梳理

第一段： 通过今昔对比引出文章论点 + 给出原因。论点：美国正式英语衰退；原因一：1960s，反文化运动的胜利。
第二段： 重复原因 + 举小例子给出评价。作者评价：正式英语的衰退是正常的。
第三段： 通过今昔对比论证论点。今天：自发性胜过了精心制作；昔日：一个受到适度教育的人下笔写作时会寻求高雅的语调。
第四段： 强调论点 + 分析原因。强调论点：从高文化变成低文化；分析原因：不是语言本身的问题，所有语言都可以表达复杂的想法。
第五段： 举例 + 评价。

二、文章翻译

2.1 第一段

Americans no longer expect public figures, whether in speech or in writing, to command the English language with skill and gift.
